Hotel Deals + Spring Blooms: Now is the Perfect Time to Visit Paso Robles

Paso Robles is one of California’s most underrated wine regions—but it might not stay that way for long. It was recently awarded a spot on Eater’s list of the best food cities of 2025, and has seen a number of cute new hotels open in the area. Plus: the development of Tin City and addition of Sensorio have added to the area’s attractions.

IMO, springtime is one of the best times to visit. The area turns green and wildflowers bloom, making it extra beautiful this time of year. But if that wasn’t enough, the historic Paso Robles Inn is offering 25% off all stays now through March 31st, making an affordable wine getaway even moreso for the next few weeks.

20th Annual Modernism Week in Palm Springs

If you needed an excuse to plan a last minute trip to Palm Springs, the 20th annual Modernism Week is taking over the city this February 13 - 23rd. The event highlights “midcentury modern architecture, art, interior design, landscape design, and vintage culture”. Over the 11-day festival, attendees can join tours, programs, and events.

If that weren’t enough, one of my favorite hotels, Korakia, still has rooms for some of those dates. Plus, Baja-based Drift hotel just opened an outpost in the desert town as well. I’ve also had my eye on the adorable Casa Cody, which also happens to be the oldest hotel in town.
